What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseman/Maintenance position at Hampton Inn by Hilton?
Hampton Inn Niagara Falls Blvd is looking for a Houseman who is not only able to keep up with the hustle and bustle of or busy months but also an eye for detail to help assist keep our property perfect all year through.
We are looking for someone who has maintenance experience or wants to learn maintenance duties. You do not need to come with prior experience but must be willing to train on basic maintenance duties. We would love to train you and give you hotel maintenance experience!
Duties
- Empty all public garbage's on property
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum all hallways, stair wells and lobby areas
- Dusting of light fixtures
- Cleaning glass
- Maintaining cleanliness of public guest restroom
- Putting away of guest supply shipments
- Collecting garbage from housekeeping
- Maybe asked to collect lien off of floors
- Light maintenance if needed (changing of light bulbs, unclog toilet etc.)
Qualifications
- Experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand and move for upwards of 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Reliable
- Great positive attitude as you will have some interactions with guests in passing
Hours
Shift typically starts between 8am-9am. We are very flexible on start and end times as well as hours desired to work. Full time or part time works great for us! We will work with your desired schedule!!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
