What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry/Housekeeping position at Hampton Inn Clewiston?
This role includes working as a housekeeper and as a laundry attendant. Roles and responsibilities will include stripping all linens from rooms, washing all linens, drying all linens, folding all linens and storing them in the designated areas (as well as treating them appropriately if necessary). Additional responsibilities will include tending to some amount of check out or stayover rooms as housekeeping as well as cleaning public areas, such as the lobby and public restrooms. Requirements are to be physically able to perform all required duties quickly and efficiently as well as to be legally authorized to work in the US.
Hours will be primarily from 8 am - 5 pm Friday and Sunday. Additional hours may be granted on Thursday and Saturday depending upon hotel occupancy.
If desired, additional hours may also be granted in the breakfast department, preparing and serving guests breakfast beginning at 6 am on weekends and 5 am on weekdays for approximately five hours each day. Roles and responsibilities will include preparing breakfast for guests each morning, serving breakfast, interacting with guests and making them feel welcome, ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, and breaking down/cleaning the kitchen and dining areas at the end of each shift.
