Maintenance Supervisor

We seek a dedicated, skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our Hampton Inn Costa Mesa Newport Beach team. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance operations, ensuring all hotel facilities and systems operate efficiently and meet our high safety and guest satisfaction standards.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall maintenance of the hotel.
• Supervise and train part-time maintenance staff, ensuring effective team operations.
• Schedule and complete regular maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and guest service requests.
• Manage maintenance inventory and procurement of supplies.
• Perform regular inspections of the hotel's facilities to ensure functionality and safety.
• Coordinate with contractors and external service providers.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance routines, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of hotel maintenance operations and systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, guests, and external contractors.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Working knowledge of Quore or a similar work order system is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training or certification is a plus.
