Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast to our guests, ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area and ensure it is clean and well-stocked with food, beverages, and supplies
- Greet guests in a friendly manner and assist them with any inquiries or special requests
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as coffee, tea, juice, pastries, cereals, and hot dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, including clearing tables and bussing dishes
- Monitor food levels and replenish as necessary to ensure a continuous supply for guests
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with catering events or special functions as needed
- Provide excellent guest service by promptly addressing any concerns or issues
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic phone etiquette skills for taking reservations or assisting guests over the phone
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is desirable
- Must be comfortable using knives for food preparation
