Hotel Director of Sales

As the director of Sales at our Hampton Irvine/Orange County Airport, you will be responsible for leading and managing all sales operations. Your primary goal is to drive hotel revenue through strategic planning and team management. You will work closely with the General Manager and the hotel team to ensure the achievement of sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new business and maintain existing relationships.
• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve business goals.
• Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly sales reports to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistent, high-quality guest experiences.
• Represent the hotel in various networking and industry events.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities and campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sales Director or Sales Manager in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing successful teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth understanding of market dynamics relevant to the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Proficiency in hotel sales software and Microsoft Office. PEP by Hilton knowledge is a plus.
