SUMMARY
The Guest Service Representative is primarily responsible for creating excellent and memorable experiences for our guests, coworkers and venders. This position is the most "customer facing", therefore it is extremely important that the GSR make has the most professional presentation as well as demonstrate expertise regarding the hotels services and facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Engage with our guests in a friendly, performance and efficiently manner during Check in, check out, and throughout the entirety of the guest stay.
- Promote a culture of excellence by following practices set forth in the Kinseth Mission Statement and Values as well as the KHC Employee Handbook. These include but are not limited to dress code, safety, performance standards, and professional image.
- Communicate all guests concerns to other departments quickly and accurately in order to achieve guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Adheres to all cash and credit card handling procedures.
- Consistently adherence to all Federal, State, Company and Brand SOPs with regard to safety and emergency procedures.
- Adhering to strategies that will ensure a positive experience that exceeds guest expectations.
Attend all department and full staff meetings are able to carry out their duties.
- Consistently promote the Hilton Honors Rewards program by rockognizing all current members and enrolling new members.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Prior hotel front desk experience preferred, not required.
- Candidate must be able to stand at the front desk unless there is a medical condition that restricts or prohibits such activity.
- Candidate must be proficient in overall computer use and Microsoft based applications.
- Candidate must be able to be present for all scheduled shifts in a consistently punctual manner.
