At the Hampton Inn on Lake Buena Vista we believe in making special moments with every guest. As a Guest Service Agent at our hotel you'll have the opportunity to provide exceptional guest service to a variety of guests staying with us as they explore theme parks, attend conferences, and celebrate life in the tourism heart of Orlando! We are looking for someone to join our team who can:
- Maintain a friendly, caring, authentic, and thoughtful personality as they greet and assist guests
- Assist guests during check-in, check-out, phone calls, and throughout their stay
- Handle cash and credit card transactions and complete basic accounting procedures
- Communicate with all hotel departments to manage requests and exceed guest expectations
- Deliver prompt and caring follow up and service recovery for all guest issues through the use of problem-solving and empathy
- Apply critical thinking skills and knowledge of the hotel property, policies, and procedures to anticipate the needs of our guests and work with the team to find solutions
- Complete a daily checklist of tasks as they are assigned including running reports, recording information, and preparations for arrivals
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with computers
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible work schedule (weekends, holidays, etc.)
- Creative and critical thinking skills for problem-solving
- Dependable and trustworthy nature
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a bonus but NOT required
