We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize staff productivity while maintaining quality service.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain records of staff performance, incidents, and any necessary reports related to housekeeping operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within a custodial setting.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
