Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our hotel rooms and ensuring that all laundry is properly laundered and cared for.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize hotel rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Ensure that all surfaces are properly disinfected
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens
- Handle guest requests promptly and professionally
- Sort, wash, dry and fold laundry items
- Operate laundry equipment according to manufacturer instructions
- Inspect laundry items for stains or damage and report any issues to management
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and equipment
- Assist with houseperson duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
