We're seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Assistant General Manager (AGM) with a passion for hospitality and a drive for success. Join our Hampton Inn & Suites team and be a part of shaping exceptional stays for our guests. As an AGM, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee and direct daily operations, ensuring excellence in guest service across all facets of hotel operations. We're looking for someone with proven leadership experience, who can inspire and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion guest satisfaction by supervising Guest Services, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Administrative, and other operational areas.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to uphold brand standards and deliver exceptional service aligned with company values.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement strategies to enhance overall guest experience.
- Anticipate guest needs and address concerns promptly, fostering a positive and welcoming environment.
- Cultivate positive working relationships among team members and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure adherence to brand and company policies.
- Develop actionable plans to address service delivery gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a professional role model for the team, promoting safety and adherence to standards.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role in a full or select service hotel (Hilton brands preferred).
- Degree in business administration or related field preferred (not required).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and keen observation skills.
- Proficiency in computer and PMS systems.
- Ability to provide and receive constructive performance feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities and provide coaching to team members.
