Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to assist in overseeing the daily operations of our front desk team. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in shaping their overall experience at our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage front desk staff, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality guest services.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details.
  • Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with guests through exceptional customer service and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for front desk staff on best practices in hospitality management and guest relations.
  • Oversee night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Manage phone etiquette by ensuring all calls are answered promptly and courteously, providing information as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in front desk management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and front desk operations.
  • Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations effectively, resolving conflicts with professionalism and tact.
  • Familiarity with night audit processes is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding guest services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
