Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on hotel facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
- Utilize schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
- Respond promptly to guest requests regarding maintenance issues with a customer-focused approach.
- Assist in the fabrication of components as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential problems before they arise.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the hotel.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or similar roles within the hospitality industry.
- Strong electrical skills with knowledge of wiring systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics for diagnostics.
- Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic knowledge of logic controllers is preferred but not required.
- Experience in residential painting or general fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
