What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Inspector position at Hampton Inn & Suites I-95?
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate for this job has exceptional attention to detail and proven industry experience. At the heart of the house, our Housekeeping Inspectors are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the hotel to the highest standard.
- To supervise and control the cleaning and servicing of all guestrooms and public areas in the hotel.
- To assist the Executive Housekeeper and property leadership with the overall cleanliness of the hotel
· Ensures that QA scores remain outstanding. Must inspect/clean guest rooms, public areas, back of house, cleaning carts, storage rooms, parking lot, front entrance (exterior/interior), elevators, and stairwells daily.
· Gather orders for the entire housekeeping department the first of the month and the middle of the month.
· Lost/found closet must be organized and each item must logged into the record book.
Key Requirements:
· Must be able to lift 35-50 pounds on a consistent basis
· Experience required, must be able to use the computer to create assignment sheets and open/close
· Flexible schedule and reliable
· Must be a fast pace worker and work well with others
· Multi-tasking skills (Stripping guestrooms, folding laundry, computer skills etc.)
· Applicants must be honest, customer-focused, reliable, friendly, and team players.
· Must be able to perform duties exceptionally well without supervision.
· Position requires physical stamina due to regular bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of 25 to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
· Applicants must be able to pass a background check.
Hours:
· Hotels operate every day of the year around the clock.
· Must be on call and open availability, including Holidays and Weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
