Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues as necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems to manage reservations and guest seating efficiently.
- Strong guest services skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
