Houseman Part-time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and Brand goals.

 Perform quality assurance (QA) requirements for the department.

 Assist guests by loading and unloading luggage.

 Maintain security for guests and property by ensuring doors are locked.

 May be required to perform light housekeeping duties.

 Pick up trash inside and outside the property.

 Report outage of lights inside and outside the property.

 Remain highly visible and be readily available for guests at all times.

 Take the initiative to offer assistance or answer questions throughout the hotel.

 Proper administration of key control.

 Willingness and ability to train new associates.

 Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to the supervisor in a timely manner.

 Thoroughly understand and implement the Brand service culture.

 Perform other duties as required. Education and/or Experience:

 A High School diploma or GED is preferred.

 No previous experience is required.

 A good driving record is required. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

 Prompt and regular attendance.

 Work flexible hours and/or overtime as required.

 Participate in all mandatory job training and meetings.

 Adhere to property policies and procedures, the Employee Handbook, and/or other property and IMM documents.

 Immediately report any suspicious activities by guests or others.

 On-call status CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain certification.

 Have a valid U.S. Drivers License

 Have zero DWI/DUI incidents on driving record for the past three years.

 Have zero “major infractions” on driving record for the past three years.

The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work overtime as required.

 Comply with hotel and/or department uniform and professional behavior and appearance standards.

 Carry out all reasonable requests by team leaders and managers and act as a team player with all levels of staff.

You must have a California driver's license

You must be at least 21 years of age.

Please notice, this is also a Houseman position so there will be cleaning duties.

A background check will be performed.
