Job Overview We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team! As the first point of contact for many of our guests each morning, you'll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. From setting up the breakfast buffet to keeping the area clean and assisting guests with a smile, your efforts will help ensure every guest starts their day off right.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet with fresh, well-presented food and beverages.
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, helpful service throughout breakfast hours.
- Keep the dining area clean and organized, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to guest specifications.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, restocking items as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory of breakfast items and supplies.
- Place orders for food and supplies as needed, following proper First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory techniques.
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of all food items to maintain safety and freshness.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in all food prep and service areas.
- Respond to guest questions or requests with professionalism and care.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
- A valid food handler’s card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
- Strong understanding of proper food handling and safety procedures.
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Great attention to detail—especially when it comes to cleanliness and presentation.
- A team player who can also take initiative and work independently.
