Building Maintenance Technician

You’ll run routine inspections and maintenance and create preventative measures to keep our equipment running smoothly as long as possible and minimize any risk. $15 - $25 hourly

• Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed
• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks
• Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made

• Be a Positive Role Model in your position, which includes dressing professionally and NOT being on your cell phone while on the job. Our property has a No-Cell phone policy. We are here to work, and we expect everyone to take this seriously. Our guests come first, and they do NOT need to see Team Members standing around texting or talking on their phones
• You would be on our Team to help make sure our Rooms are Guest Ready and that our Rooms Do Not have Maintenance issues.
• To be a part of our Team you would need to understand that our Guest Rooms must look new each and every time we rent it. Your job is to take care of problems before they occur. You must do Room Preventive Maintenance on a minimum of 2-3 rooms per day. This keeps your eyes open to anything that will need repairing or replacing.

• Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
• Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience
• Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
