What you will be doing
- Be responsible for providing the guest services of our award winning hotel
- Be present at the front desk and engage guests with a friendly, authentic, caring, and thoughtful approach
- Duties include checking guests in/out, answering telephone calls, take care of reservations, and other administrative tasks delegated by management
- Fill in as Manager on Duty by resolving issues and implementing safety protocols
- Organize the office area by taking inventory and stocking amenities and supplies
- Refill coffee and hot water in our lobby
- Respond to special requests made by guests
- Maintain the cleanliness of the common areas, including the lobby
- Effectively relay information between all departments
- Give directions and recommend places of interest in the Wisconsin Dells area
- Handle cash payments and perform cashier tasks
- Aid other departments by assisting breakfast and linen cleaning operations
Requirements
- Ability to communicate with guest requests and respond accordingly in a helpful, friendly- efficient manner
- Stand for duration of periods between breaks
- Customer Service: 1 Year
- Computational and computer skills required
- Must be flexible to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Hotel/Reservations experience preferred
- Able to move lift and carry large objects up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work 3pm-11pm
