Position Title: Housekeeping Attendant
Position Summary: Paid weekly. This position is primarily responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest room. Must have weekend availability. No phone calls please.
Essential Position Functions:
- Clean assigned guest rooms and public areas to meet hotel standards.
- Respond to requests from guests for assistance and information about guest rooms and hotel.
- Perform cleaning procedures in guest room that include changing linens/terry, dusting, cleaning bathroom (tub/shower, stool, and floor), sink and mirrors.
- Vacuum and spot clean carpet.
- Remove used guest amenities and trash.
- Replenish guest amenities and supplies.
- Restock housekeeping carts with supplies and linen/terry.
- Observe and report repairs (supervisor or maintenance) needed on any area of the room or public areas.
- Report lost and found articles.
- Perform periodic or scheduled cleaning projects.
- Maintain open communication with other hotel departments.
- Understand and helps monitor basic safety and security procedures of the hotel.
- Assist other departments when needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Interacts with all other housekeeping team.

- Reports to General Manager, Front Office Manager, Executive Housekeeper and/or Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor
