Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and prepared for use in a hotel environment. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our laundry services, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens and guest clothing.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate fabrics.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of proper laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
