What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at Hampton Inn & Suites?
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Augusta is searching for a Night Auditor to join our dynamic front desk team. Compensation is based on experience. Company benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO, 401k, employee discounts, and much more.
The purpose of the Night Auditor is to audit all accounts to ensure they are in balance, and prepare final reports for management; acts as the third shift Front Desk Agent ensuring maximum room revenues and guest satisfaction, in line with AURO Hotels' standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Assists all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, and whenever possible, going the extra mile and doing whatever it takes to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Registers and processes guests promptly upon arrival and departure, to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Verifies that all charges to guest accounts made during the day are correct, and posts room charges for that day so that all guest accounts are current and in balance by 6:00 am the following morning or by the brand standard's designated time.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as the local area, and effectively assists guests.
- Must be available during the overnight shift (11:00 pm until 7:00 am).

Experience/Education
College degree preferred; high school diploma and/or 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
