Duties:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace them when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Experience:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Integrity and ability to work independently
Skills:
- Cleanliness: Knowledge of effective cleaning methods and techniques
- Housekeeping Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Hotel: Understanding of hotel cleaning standards and procedures
- Hospitality: Ability to provide excellent customer service in a hospitality setting
- Industrial Cleaning: Experience with cleaning in an industrial or commercial environment
- Custodial: Knowledge of custodial duties and responsibilities
