We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are laundered, dried, and pressed to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and comfort of our guests' experience at our hotel.
Responsibilities
- Launder various types of linens and garments using appropriate washing techniques and detergents.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution to designated areas.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting, is a plus.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
