Preschool Teacher (Full-time)

We are looking for individuals who love working with children and want to enjoy spending their days teaching and making a lasting, positive impact on the children in their care.

Hampton Lane Child Development Center is currently interviewing qualified candidates for teaching positions. We are seeking full-time lead teachers. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in the Health Insurance, Vision, and Dental plans after the completion of the standard evaluation period.

HLCDC is an MSDE approved, year-round preschool for children ages 2 through 5 located in Towson MD. Our center is open from 7:00am till 5:45pm. HLCDC is a small, family-oriented preschool community, and an outreach program from Towson Methodist Church. The class sizes are small and the educational environment is positive, nurturing, and age-appropriate. We use the Creative Curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

· 90 Hour Preschool Certification or current CDA for Preschool (required)

· Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)

· Qualification approval required from the MSDE licensing division

· Must complete continuing Educational requirements annually as well as any training courses required for the position (most are paid for by the school).

· Medical and background checks are required by MSDE for all positions.

· Preschool experience (preferred)

The cost of background checks will be reimbursed by the school after the completion of the evaluation period. Additional training may be required. Most continuing education courses are available through an online program currently provided by HLCDC.

Additional qualifications desired: Current CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, ADA training, and participation in the MD Credentialing program.
