Overview
Hampton Lumber’s internship program is tailored for the intern to be mentored and guided by an individual supervisor in their area of career aspiration. We are looking to hire 2 individuals for this position. The structure of the internship will allow for interns to gain experience and take ownership of specific projects that further their education and knowledge in their respective fields, while also networking with industry professionals. Responsibilities
Robotics/Automation Intern (Based out of Willamina, OR)
The Robotics/ Automation Intern will work alongside and be mentored by professional Engineers, Electricians, Technicians, and other mill professionals. Our internships are structured as entry-level opportunities that expose participants to marketable skills and build proficiencies in various manufacturing disciplines. Interns will be assigned specific projects to work on for the duration of their time but will also be included in several day-to-day activities being worked on by the engineering team.
Qualifications
- 2 years of college with a 3.0 GPA in an Engineering discipline (or comparable industry experience)

- Microcontroller (Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
- Machine Vision (highly desired)

Must be available for the three-month duration of the internship beginning in June 2024
Preferred candidates will have completed at least two years of college courses.
