Duties
As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Preparing nutritious meals and ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Maintaining a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Assisting with mobility and transportation needs, including outings and appointments.
- Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring health conditions.
- Supporting individuals with memory care needs or those residing in assisted living or group home settings.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A genuine passion for caregiving and helping others.
- Experience in senior care, long-term care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- CPR certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs of each client.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs.
