Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor clients' health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through tailored care approaches.
- Collaborate with family members and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Skills
- Proficiency in First Aid techniques and emergency response.
- Experience in Direct Support roles or similar caregiving positions.
- Background in Social Work or related fields is beneficial.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the living space.
- Knowledge of Assisted Living protocols and best practices.
- Strong commitment to Patient Care principles with a focus on dignity and respect.
- Familiarity with Dementia Care strategies to effectively support clients with cognitive challenges.
- Competence in Medication Administration as per prescribed guidelines.
- Experience in Home Community Care settings is an advantage.
