What would you do as a Clinical Services Coordinator - SEFP
As a Clinical Services Coordinator for the South-Eastern Family Project (SEFP) at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive continuum of care for pregnant and postpartum women living with substance use disorders (SUD). Established in 2004, SEFP is dedicated to empowering women and their families to lead healthy, addiction-free lives in a supportive, nicotine and drug-free environment. Your responsibilities will include developing, organizing, monitoring, and overseeing therapeutic functions at our perinatal residential facility, ensuring a person-centered approach that promotes stabilization and holistic well-being. With a focus on improving pregnancy outcomes and strengthening maternal relationships, you'll facilitate psychiatric assessments and provide essential counseling, education, and healthcare training. Compliance with Medicaid and licensure standards will be paramount, as your expertise will directly impact clients' immediate and long-term health, safety, and independent living skills.
What we're looking for in a Clinical Services Coordinator - SEFP
To thrive as a Clinical Services Coordinator (SEFP), candidates must possess a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation, along with at least two years of post-graduate relevant experience. Successful applicants will have extensive experience working with the client group, demonstrating empathy and strong clinical skills to navigate sensitive situations effectively. A current and valid Virginia driver's license is essential for travel requirements, ensuring accessibility to various program components.
