Hampton North is partnering with a prestigious company in the financial sector looking to expand their existing software team with a Senior Python Software Engineer. This a great opportunity for anyone who is passionate about finance and investment, and who is looking to join a company with huge growth opportunities.
You'll be backend heavy, but any exposure to front end frameworks is a plus. Ideally you'll have exposure or at least an interest in getting involved with AI. You'll be working on maintaining and architecting new applications using Python on their client facing platform. As a senior member of the team, you'll play a pivotal role in the design and plans of new projects.
Essential :
- B.S. in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
- 5 years in a software engineering role (Python)
- Experience working JavaScript
- Relational database experience : MySQL or Postgres
- Exposure working in an agile environment
