What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Equity Associate position at Hampton Reid?
We are currently partnered with a Top 5 Growth Equity Firm, who are looking to add an Associate to their Investment Team based in New York.
Responsibilities
- Engage in all stages of the deal process, from initial sourcing and due diligence to execution
- Work on deals across a number of verticals, including Tech, Services, and more.
- Develop and manage financial models, conduct market research, and prepare investment memos
- Opportunity to work on a mixture of minority and majority investments.
Qualifications
- 1.5 - 3 years of experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity at a top-tier firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- Exceptional financial modeling skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with CEOs, senior executives, and other stakeholders
