What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Assistant position at Hampton Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation?
Hampton Ridge Healthcare is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our team! We currently have both part-time and full-time EVENING AND WEEKEND (NON NEGOTIABLE) positions available. Holidays are a must. Experience is a plus, but will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in planning, developing and implementing Activity Programs.
- Encourages hobbies and activities that the resident enjoys and is capable of participating in.
- Make routine visits to residents who do not attend activities.
- Creates an atmosphere of warmth and caring.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Must be outgoing, self-motivated, energetic and must possess good communication skills.
- Must be able to easily build a strong rapport with senior citizens.
- Must have an aptitude for and some training in art and craft type projects.
