Position Summary/Objective
The Crane Operator is responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition heavy materials and equipment on construction sites or in industrial environments. This role requires precision, attention to safety, and adherence to operational procedures.
Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate a Crane to complete tasks such as driving pylons, setting beams, directing, and assisting with rigging.
Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
Other Duties as Assigned or Requested
May perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Required
Preferred
NCCCO Certification required.
Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
Valid Driver’s License required.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Must pass DOT physical.
Ability to work overtime and flexible hours (day/night)
May be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Requires good manual dexterity, standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for extended periods.
Ability to communicate with others to convey information effectively.
Demonstrate your attention to details.
Knowledgeable of safety procedures and practices
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
3-5 Years of operating experience preferred.
Experience with construction equipment preferred

Occasional climbing on and off equipment and bending to inspect machinery
