Position Summary/Objective


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pile Driver to join our bridge and tunnel construction team. The Pile Driver will be responsible for driving piles into the ground to provide foundational support for various structures. This role requires precision, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.


Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Pick up and place templates for pile locations

  • Support crane activities and pile deliveries

  • Inspect tools and safety premises on a daily basis

  • Attend toolbox talks and maintain a safe atmosphere

  • Keep site clean and organized


Other Duties as Assigned or Requested


  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications


Required

Preferred


  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working on heavy civil construction projects

  • Experience in carpentry and understanding elevations a plus

  • Must be 18 years in age or older

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to work overtime and flexible hours (day/night/weekends)

  • Ability to work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions

  • Ability to communicate with others to convey information effectively

  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials

  • Demonstrate attention to details

  • Knowledgeable of safety procedures and practices

  • Previous experience with, and understanding of, the pile driving process and heavy equipment preferred

  • Previous experience pile driving crew a plus

  • Ability to read and understand a heavy construction plan preferred

  • Exposure to extreme temperatures as well as high levels of noise and varying levels of dust

  • Working on construction site

  • Occasional climbing on and off equipment

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • lift heavy materials and equipment.
