What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician (Hand and Upper Extremity) position at Hampton Roads Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine?
Hampton Roads Orthopaedics, Spine and Sports Medicine is a 60-year-old, multi-specialty practice in the Virginia, coastal area of Newport News and is searching for its next partner to join the practice and fill a much-needed slot. The main position would be working out of Newport News, Va., with other clinical locations possible during the week, like Williamsburg and Suffolk. The practice now boasts the only orthopaedic practice in greater Hampton roads to offer a new 3T MRI. In addition, HROSM has now purchased a surgery center to be solely owned by the orthopaedic owners. This would be a partnership track for a hand and upper extremity physician who wants to be busy and be a major player with volume practice. Williamsburg and Newport News offer all the amenities of coastal living and moderate winters. A strong work ethic, desire to be busy, ability to see hand call when needed, and determination to make a strong living will make you a great fit for this well-established group. Our practice will offer a sign-on bonus and moving expense allowance, in addition to a first-year base salary. The ideal candidate will have dual fellowships in hand and shoulder to maximize your reimbursements but will consider all eligible candidates. If your background fits this template for a hand and upper extremity doctor, then send your CV and contact information to jstrother@HROSM.com . Consider active practice and fellows.
