POSITION: Guest Substitute Teacher Positions (a teaching license is not required)

Great schools need great teachers. If you are thinking about a career in education, returning to the workforce, or looking to work with children, the Hampton Township School District invites you to apply to the Guest Substitute Teacher program. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; experience working in schools or with children is preferred. Schedules are flexible based on your availability.

Please note that this program provides training for adults who do not have a Pennsylvania teaching credential, but who would enjoy an opportunity to become a substitute teacher in the Hampton Township School District with training. If you already have a Pennsylvania teaching credential and would like to be a substitute teacher, please refer to the directions on the Careers page (www.ht-sd.org) on how to apply.

If you are interested in becoming a Guest Substitute Teacher, please follow these steps:

1. Visit the Careers Page of our website at www.ht-sd.org.

2. Complete a short online electronic application by February 14, 2025.

3. Attend an Information Session on February 18, 2025 at 7:00 pm. Additional details and information about the Guest Substitute Teacher Program will be provided at that time.

4. Selected candidates will be invited to a free one-day training program on February 25, 2025.

Guest Substitute Teachers will be paid $120 per day.
