Summary
The Retail Customer Service Support and Operations Administrative Associate will assist in day-to-day operations within the retail environment, ensuring a seamless customer experience and efficient business processes. This position provides administrative support to the customer service and operations teams while working closely with retail staff to adhere to customer service standards, streamline operations, and resolve customer issues.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and requests, providing timely and accurate information.
Address customer concerns and issues, escalating complex matters to senior management when necessary.
Assist in the resolution of service or product-related issues in a professional manner.
Monitor and respond to customer feedback on various platforms (e.g., social media, customer surveys).
Support daily retail operations
Coordinate with store leadership to ensure the smooth execution of promotional events, sales initiatives, and product launches.
Maintain accurate records of operational activities, including sales data, inventory reports, and customer service interactions.
Provide clerical support such as filing, data entry, and documentation for retail and customer service departments.
Prepare and maintain reports, including sales performance, customer satisfaction metrics, and operational trends.
Support operational processes, including ordering office supplies.
Work closely with store managers, sales associates, and other teams to ensure the highest level of customer service and operational efficiency.
Participate in team meetings, offering insights to improve customer service and operational practices.
Assist and help in other areas of the business as directed by your manager.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with customers and team members professionally.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and retail management programs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
A customer-centric attitude with problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
Required Experience
Previous experience in customer service, retail operations, or administrative support is preferred.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or a relevant degree is a plus.
