Hana Engineers and Consultants, LLC is seeking to hire a full-time Primavera P6 Scheduler to support Hana’s construction management services group related to federal projects.
Duty Location(s): The immediate duty location is the western region of Virginia / eastern region of Tennessee. Hana is seeking candidates who are located within an 8-hour drive of this area.
Position Overview: As a Primavera P6 Scheduler, you will lead project scheduling, cost integration, and time impact analysis across multi-million dollar federal construction projects. Support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the delivery of complex civil and military construction programs. The scheduler will provide end-to-end schedule development, maintenance, analysis, and reporting in accordance with USACE standards, ensuring integration with budget and scope for successful project execution.
Requirements:Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain resource and cost-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6, aligned with USACE WBS and contractual requirements.
- Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and time impact analyses (TIAs) for ongoing and prospective projects.
- Review contractor-submitted baseline and updated schedules for technical accuracy and contract compliance.
- Generate monthly schedule reports, including variance analysis, earned value data, and performance trends.
- Support schedule-related components of project risk, claims, and change management.
- Coordinate closely with USACE Project Managers, Resident Engineers, QAR, and cost control personnel.
- Maintain integration with RMS/QCS/PMIS and other project management platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of scheduling experience in construction programs, with 5 years in Primavera P6.
- Demonstrated experience supporting federal clients, preferably USACE, NAVFAC, or DoD agencies.
- Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM), construction sequencing, and forensic schedule analysis.
- Proficiency in schedule health metrics, risk modeling tools (e.g., Deltek Acumen Risk), and earned value concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with UFC 01 32 01.00 10, FAR scheduling clauses, and DoD project delivery processes.
- Certifications preferred: PMI-Sp or PMP (PMI), PSP (AACE), CACM or CCM (CMAA).
