Our customers include supermarkets, grocery stores, delicatessens, convenience stores, gas stations, newsstands, etc. In addition, we are developing further growth opportunities in online shopping business and innovative supply chain system.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality food products
- Collaborate with suppliers, negotiate contracts, analyze market trends, and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
- 0-3 years in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in the food distribution industry
- Fluency in English and Korean or Spanish is preferred
Skills:
- Ability to analyze market trends, monitor pricing fluctuations, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Proficiency in conducting data analysis and utilizing relevant tools and software to make informed purchasing decisions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and reports
- Ability to build and maintain strong relations with suppliers
- Ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms
- Ability to assess supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Proficiency in using inventory management software
- Ability to forecast and manage inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing carrying costs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal teams
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust procurement strategies accordingly
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records
