In-Home Laundry Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented In-Home Laundry Assistant to provide exceptional laundry care to clients in their homes. As part of our personalized service, you will handle all aspects of laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and changing linens. This is a dedicated laundry role, not a housekeeping or janitorial position. If you enjoy creating order and have a passion for laundry care, we want you!

This position offers up to 40 hours per week, with flexible shifts of 4-hour or 8-hour blocks, making it ideal for individuals with excellent time management and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laundry Care: Wash, dry, fold, and organize clothes, towels, and linens.
• Ironing and Steaming: Ensure garments and linens are wrinkle-free and ready to use.
• Linen Management: Change and refresh bed linens, towels, and other fabrics.
• Laundry Area Maintenance: Keep laundry areas clean and organized within the client’s home.
• Careful Handling of Items: Follow instructions for delicate fabrics and special care requests.
• Client Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service, addressing any specific needs or requests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in laundry care, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow care instructions for different fabrics (e.g., delicate, dry clean only).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay on task independently.
• Professional, reliable, and trustworthy with the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Must pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation is required to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and carrying.

Schedule & Pay:

• Up to 40 hours per week with flexible 4-hour or 8-hour shifts.
• Starting at $20 per hour, with potential for increase based on experience and performance.
