What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position at Hancock County Health System?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Occupation Therapist in the preparation of patients for treatment, provide treatment to patients as directed by the OT, and assist to maintain occupational therapy equipment and department in a clean manner.
HOURS:
Work as needed. Flexible Schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have completed an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Must have or obtain an Iowa license by successfully passing the State of Iowa Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensing examination. Must have ability to communicate and work with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Good computer skills.
