RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provides organization, direction and staffing for the Occupational Health, Wellness, Education and Population Health Departments. Manages the budget, personnel, materials and environment of care to ensure quality, cost effective services. Serves as the organizations Infection Control Nurse and Employee Health Nurse. Monitors and maintains records of all patients and employees concerning infectious disease processes. Is the community liaison working with all departments concerning isolation policies and infection control problems. Ensures the health of the hospital staff by making sure they have the required exams / immunizations and follow-up after illness.
HOURS :
Full-time 80 hours, Monday through Friday
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with a current Iowa license. Prefer a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. Must have five years of clinical experience. Knowledge of multiple clinical areas is preferred. Requires a minimum of one year of supervisory experience. Experience in planning and coordinating educational programs is recommended. Computer skills required. Hold certifications in Audiology, Spirometry, and Physical Capacity Profile testing or be willing to attend classes for this. Health Coaching Certification is encouraged but will not be required to obtain. Ability to work flexible hours.
