Position Opening: Enforcement Lieutenant
The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the position of Enforcement Lieutenant. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing law enforcement operations, ensuring departmental policies and procedures are followed, and providing leadership to deputies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Ohio operator's license
- Valid Ohio Peace Officer Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum (3) years supervisory experience in law enforcement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage and oversee daily operations, personnel, and enforcement activities.
- Extensive knowledge of law enforcement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Must be in good standing with the department and free of any disciplinary actions within the past 12 months.
- Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and enforce effective actions plans.
