Position Opening: Enforcement Lieutenant

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the position of Enforcement Lieutenant. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing law enforcement operations, ensuring departmental policies and procedures are followed, and providing leadership to deputies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Ohio operator's license
• Valid Ohio Peace Officer Certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum (3) years supervisory experience in law enforcement.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage and oversee daily operations, personnel, and enforcement activities.
• Extensive knowledge of law enforcement policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Must be in good standing with the department and free of any disciplinary actions within the past 12 months.
• Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and enforce effective actions plans.

Starting Wage $41.00

After One Year $42.88

This is a leadership position requiring a high level of professionalism, dedication, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
