Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in pool maintenance and cleaning. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' pools are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.
Duties
- Service weekly pool route - checking water chemistry, equipment operation/calibration, preventative maintenance schedule, chemical stocking, and repairs as needed.
- Equipment repairs and replacement. Pumps, motors, filter work, UV system repairs, heater repairs, chemical system repairs, ADA lift installation and repairs.
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment issues.
- Plumbing repairs and installation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair many different brands and types of equipment.
- Knowledge of pump room operation and develop ability to recommend equipment upgrades.
- Train and learn manufacturer certified installations and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing maintenance tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their pool systems.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used during each visit.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pool cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and work outdoors.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Clean driving record / TXDL.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
