Responsibilities

The Cash Handling Specialist at Hancock Whitney Corp. plays a crucial role in creating 5-Star client experiences through accurate cash handling, speed of service, problem resolution, risk mitigation, and personalized client discussions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients through excellent service.
  • Handles client transactional needs such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other negotiable items.
  • Resolves client servicing issues such as service charge clarification and account maintenance.
  • Stays updated on the range of products and services offered by the company.
  • Contributes to meeting the required level of outbound calls to educate clients on digital solutions.
  • Provides educational content to clients on digital offerings such as mobile, online, and ATM services.
  • Identifies opportunities to refer clients to internal business partners.
  • Supports the team by assisting with financial center duties such as opening and closing the vault and balancing the cash drawer.
  • Ensures effective utilization of equipment while staying informed about its functionality.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor, adhering to standards of dress and lobby organization.
  • May take on a mentorship role, providing guidance and coaching to colleagues.
  • Participates in lobby management by engaging and directing client traffic.
  • Conducts research for clients as necessary.
