Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support in various settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, and home community care environments. Duties
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated promptly.
- Support clients with daily living activities while promoting independence.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalized care plans.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with CPR and basic first aid is advantageous.
- Experience working in group homes or assisted living facilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices can enhance service delivery.
- A background in nursing or healthcare-related fields is beneficial for understanding client needs.
