Hand Transport Services Inc. a FedEx Ground contractor, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for full-time and part time delivery drivers in the Hichory, NC area.
Delivery drivers will be operating out of the Hickory terminal (located at 1936 Amity St Newton, NC, 28658) with delivery routes servicing commercial and residential areas. Our drivers will be operating 12’ box trucks provided by the employer.
CDL License is NOT Required!
Pay: $170/day
Work Hours: 8AM - 5PM
Schedule: FULL TIME: Mon-Sat PART TIME: 3-4 days per week

Delivery Driver Requirements:
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- 1 Year of verifiable job-related box truck or larger truck experience
- Background check required
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!)
- Physically able to manage packages up to 150 pounds
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Arrive at FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages
- Loading and unloading packages from the truck
- Make an average of 90 stops a day to destinations accurately using a GPS system
- Scan and Log Packages
Our FedEx Ground company is looking for people who have been Local Drivers, Route Drivers, Truck Drivers, Couriers, Pick Up Drivers, Delivery drivers - and if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies is a plus.
