What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Ice Cream Scooper position at Handel's Homemade Ice Cream?

From making each batch fresh daily to using Alice Handel's original methods and recipes, we’re still sharing our homemade ice cream and serving the communities we love so much one scoop at a time.
Must be able to describe, talk about, and serve all menu items to guests. We offer 47 flavor options in stores but have 150 recipes.
- Execute friendly, engaging, and genuine customer service during fast moving and busy service hours.
- Able to problem solve and find positive resolutions to challenging questions, requests, and/or interactions.
- Must be able to operate a cash register/credit card/point of sale touchscreen and have adequate cash handling skills.
- Standing, walking, and/or moving for prolonged periods of time with full use of the hands and wrists.
- Be able to lift and move at least 25 lbs. and perform cleaning/sanitation tasks according to statewide industry standards.
- Consistently arrive on-time to all scheduled shifts throughout the week and follow proper company protocol if unable to do so.
- Balanced sense of urgency while still being friendly, engaging, and navigating guests through the menu experience.
