Handel's Ice Cream is looking for enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team. As a Scooper, you will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for our customers by serving our delicious ice cream and ensuring top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ice cream, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite flavors.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and samples to enhance the customer experience.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic payments.
- Ice Cream Scooping:
- Scoop ice cream and serve it in cones, cups, or other containers with care and precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the ice cream display and toppings bar.
- Toppings and Presentation:
- Prepare and add toppings to orders, ensuring appealing presentation.
- Assist in creating ice cream desserts, sundaes, and shakes according to customer requests.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- A passion for ice cream and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Physical Requirements:
