Job pay (based on experience and availability): $13-16/hr tips
Tips are divided based on hours worked and usually range between an extra 4-5 dollars per hour.
Job description:
The shift leader role is a customer-facing role, you will be responsible for assisting with the sales and operational performance of the store. Shift leaders must be fun, fast, friendly, be knowledgeable of all Handel’s products and offerings, and be punctual and reliable.
Essential Duties:
- Lead by example to create memorable customer experiences, and a positive, fun, and encouraging environment
- Scooping ice cream with a sense of urgency, assisting guests at the window
- Assist with maintaining brand standards and operational procedures
- Follow company recipes to ensure accuracy of portion size, flavor, and presentation
- Accurately write down and ring customer orders and ensure accurate handling of cash transactions
- Interact with customers with a positive and up beat attitude
- Frequent social interaction with guests, a friendly attitude is required
- Assist with opening, closing, daily, and extra cleaning tasks as needed
- Ensure the inside and outside of the store is kept neat and clean
- Ensure product is rotated appropriately using the FIFO method
- Communicate professionally and positively
- Adapt to change quickly to support the company’s mission for growth and success
- Ensure store is restocked and clean before the end of each shift
- Arrive to all scheduled shifts in appropriate uniform, and clock in and out for each shift
- Follow all food safety and sanitization guidelines are being followed
**This job requires you to be on your feet during the entire portion of your scheduled shift, and you must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, unless special circumstances arise or arrangements are made during the hiring process.**

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
