Due to our increased business, we are currently seeking a highly talented and motiavted wastewater professional to be our Supervisor/Operator in Charge to service our clients specifically located in Chester, NJ.

What will be my responsibilities and objectives:

· As the Wastewater Supervsior/Operator In Charge, you will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of remediation systems at a superfund job site.

· Will be on day shift to oversee, operate, inspect, adjust, and monitor process equipment, meters, gauges, and controls to detect problems and to maintain proper levels of operation and systems performance.

· Supervise and lead team engagements for field techs. Incudes: training, coaching and feedback to team and management.

· As the point of contact, will communicates daily with clients, regulatory personnel, management, colleagues and field techs.

· Oversee and/or perform process control testing and field testing of water. Record and adjust pH levels, process chemicals, including flocculants and coagulants, using mixers, pumps, and metering devices.

· Ensure the wastewater treatment system is operating within compliance, follow all Company Standard Operating Procedures and apply, and adhere to all safety procedures as required.

· Keep abreast of the latest wastewater industry standards and regulations as well as maintain and upgrade licensing credentials.

· Ensure job sites are neat, clean and free of debris.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

· High school diploma/GED. Vocational Technical training in waste water, engineering, electrical or auto mechanics a plus. College degree a plus.

· NJ Industrial Wastewater Operator’s License N2 or a N3 required.

· 8 years of Waste Water Operator experience with aspirations to be in a supervisory role.

· 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and TWIC Card preferred. Will be required to obtain.

· Willingness and drive to further wastewater education and knowledge and obtain additional licenses/credentials.

· Required to walk and stand for extended periods of time, work sometimes in severe weather conditions and varying locations that may or may not require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to work overtime when required.

· Team player with good work ethic.

· Valid driver license in good standing required.

· Ability to pass background checks (criminal/drug/alcohol) required.

Salary range: $30 to $40 an hour plus OT.
